Abstract
One of the motivating factors in the success of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are breastfeeding. Many nursing mothers who have difficulty in milk production multiply even those facing a serious dilemma because the milk does not come out in the early days after birth. That's why an alternative attempted to increase the amount of milk production with oxytocin massage. The purpose of this research to know the relationship between massage oxytocin with the smooth production mother breast-fed on post partum Caesarean section day to 2-3. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a sample of 48 respondents. Univariate analysis techniques using frequency distribution and bivariate Analisia with chi-square test (X2) at the 5% significance level α. The results showed there is a significant correlation between oxytocin massage with lactation (X2 count value = 8.765> 3.841 X2tabel, p value = 0.003). Based on these results, the advice given to the hospital is still applying the massage intervention oxytocin for postpartum mothers to increase milk production.
