Abstract
Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is one aspect of labor protection.Cases of occupational accidents in the laboratory has increased every year. Samarinda AWS Hospital is the largest hospital in East Kalimantan which has a Laboratory of Clinical Pathology and Anatomical Pathology Laboratory. One effort is the Laboratory K3 in PPE use. Based on initial observations that have been made in hospitals AWS Samarinda. there are some laboratory workers who do not use PPE in accordance with the regulations set. This study aims to determine the level of compliance with PPE use the evaluation to clinical pathology laboratory personnel in hospitals AWS Samarinda. This research uses descriptive method with total sampling technique. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Clinical Pathology, Hospital AWS Samarinda with a total sample of 32 respondents. Data were analyzed using univariate analysis. Evaluation of the use of PPE is the use of PPE gloves and footwear as much as 100% adherent and non-adherent 0%; APD mask as much as 56% adherent and non-adherent 44%; and APD lab coat as much as 81% adherent and non-adherent 19%. It can be concluded that the evaluation of the level of compliance of the use of all PPE isobedient.
